Where it fits in smart glasses
AI smart glasses ODM/JDM in its smart-hardware segment, with significant AI-glasses revenue growth in 2025 (2025 annual report; clients unnamed); micro-speakers and MEMS microphone modules used in AI smart glasses. Its optics unit Goertek Optical (waveguides, AR/MR optical modules) was deconsolidated in Dec 2025 and is a 38.34% associate (H1 2026 report). KGOnTech attributes Meta Ray-Ban Display’s optical-engine design and assembly to Goertek; not confirmed by Meta or Goertek.
What the evidence establishes
Smart-glasses evidenceDisclosed: Goertek’s reports describe AI smart-glasses ODM/JDM work with significant 2025 revenue growth, and micro-speakers and MEMS microphone modules for AI glasses; clients unnamed.
An explicit smart-glasses product, design-in, supply role, program, application page or partnership, including wrist or ring input sold with glasses. For a device maker, it means the company’s own glasses, not a supplier relationship. This does not establish revenue, market share, volumes or future sourcing.

Keep in perspective
Clients are unnamed. Its waveguide and optical-module business sits in Goertek Optical, a 38.34% associate since Dec 2025. KGOnTech attributes Meta Ray-Ban Display’s engine and assembly to Goertek; Meta and Goertek have not confirmed.
Diversified business exposure. This describes the breadth or role of the business; it is not an investment rating. A smart-glasses product, design-in or partnership does not by itself establish material glasses revenue, market share, or future returns.
Connections to the assembly
These links explain the technology relationship. The model is illustrative and does not represent an actual manufacturer’s bill of materials.
Acoustic chamber & dual ports
The enclosure vents the front and back of the diaphragm through separate ports. Near the ear the two outputs add; farther away they partly cancel, limiting leakage to people nearby.
Scope of the company links: Acoustic-module integration, not standalone mesh or housing supply.
Micro-speaker driver
A small moving-coil driver plays sound in front of the ear without sealing the ear canal.
Scope of the company links: AAC and Goertek make micro-speakers and disclose AI/AR-glasses acoustic work; the speaker supplier in any Meta model is not established. Brilliant Labs Halo’s bone-conduction speakers come from Thor Innovation (private).
MEMS microphone array
Four to six MEMS mics around the frame allow beamforming toward the mouth and wind-noise rejection. Ray-Ban Meta uses five; Meta Ray-Ban Display uses six.
Scope of the company links: MEMS microphones supplied or marketed for glasses: TDK (dual T5838 in Brilliant Labs Halo; ICS-41351 in the sold-out Frame), MEMSensing (says it is the exclusive microphone supplier for Rokid Glasses; Rokid has not confirmed), AAC and Goertek (glasses audio-pickup and MEMS microphone modules), Infineon (IM65D130M announced for Q3 2026) and ST (MP23ABS1 on its Smart Glasses (AR) page). Knowles sold its consumer MEMS microphone business to Syntiant (private) in Dec 2024 and is not mapped.
Temple housing
Each temple is a thin-walled shell around a board, cell and speaker, tapering behind the ear. Slim temples are a design goal.
Scope of the company links: Temple shells are built by the frame maker or the ODM that integrates the electronics: Goertek discloses AI-glasses ODM/JDM work, and Luxshare lists AI glasses among its system-integration products.
Seals, adhesive & fasteners
Bonded seams and gaskets give IPX4 (Ray-Ban Meta) up to IP67 (Oakley Meta Vanguard), but make the battery very hard to replace.
Scope of the company links: Final assembly and sealing: EssilorLuxottica reports its own wearables manufacturing (Dongguan; Agordo, Italy, from H2 2026); Goertek discloses AI-glasses ODM work, and KGOnTech attributes Meta Ray-Ban Display assembly to it (Oct 30, 2025; not confirmed by Meta or Goertek); Luxshare lists AI-glasses system integration. Adhesive and gasket material suppliers are not mapped.
