Hon Hai Precision (Foxconn)

AI server racks for cloud customers; Vera Rubin ramp

Where it fits in an AI server rack

Says AI-rack shipments will more than double in 2026, with Vera Rubin racks entering mass production in Q3 2026, and that revenue from 800G-and-above switches should double (Q2 2026 results, Aug 12, 2026). NVIDIA named Foxconn’s Houston plant for U.S. AI-supercomputer production (Apr 14, 2025), and Foxconn will build Vera Rubin NVL72 in Europe for the Bull brand (June 17, 2026).

What the evidence establishes

AI-rack evidence

Disclosed: Hon Hai’s Q2 2026 results release gives the AI-rack and switch outlook; NVIDIA’s blog names the Houston plant.

An explicit AI-server or AI-rack product, design-in, supply role, program, reference design or partnership, such as a part named for rack-scale AI systems or a product sold for AI data centers. For a rack builder, it means the company’s own AI servers or racks. This does not establish revenue, market share, volumes or future sourcing.

Listed as a rack builder for its own AI servers and racks, not as a supplier of the parts inside.

Keep in perspective

Hon Hai gives growth rates, not rack counts, revenue by customer or an AI-rack revenue line. Its listed subsidiary Foxconn Industrial Internet (601138.SS), 84.16% held on a reciprocal basis, reports its own AI-server results, so the two rows overlap.

Diversified business exposure. This describes the breadth or role of the business; it is not an investment rating. An AI-server product, design-in or partnership does not by itself establish material AI-rack revenue, market share, or future returns.
