Arista Networks

7060 AI leaf and 7800R AI spine Ethernet switches

Where it fits in an AI server rack

Sells Ethernet switches for AI back-end and front-end networks: its 2025 10-K names the Arista 7800R AI Spine and 7060 AI Leaf and describes scale-out networks that connect XPUs across racks. 2025 revenue was $9.006B (up 28.6%); Q2 2026 revenue was $3.036B (up 37.7%), when it introduced the 1.6T 7060XE7 series for AI fabrics.

What the evidence establishes

AI-rack evidence

Disclosed: Arista’s 2025 10-K names its AI leaf and spine switches, and its Q2 2026 results release describes the 1.6T AI fabric platforms.

An explicit AI-server or AI-rack product, design-in, supply role, program, reference design or partnership, such as a part named for rack-scale AI systems or a product sold for AI data centers. For a rack builder, it means the company’s own AI servers or racks. This does not establish revenue, market share, volumes or future sourcing.

How we knowDisclosed The company’s own filing, release, annual report, product page or investor record describes the AI-server or AI-rack role. Where customers are unnamed, the listing says so.

Keep in perspective

Arista does not break out AI revenue in its filings or say which switches sit above a given NVL72 rack. Two customers were 26% and 16% of 2025 revenue, and NVIDIA’s own Spectrum-X and InfiniBand switches compete for the same role.

Specialist business exposure. This describes the breadth or role of the business; it is not an investment rating. An AI-server product, design-in or partnership does not by itself establish material AI-rack revenue, market share, or future returns.

Connections to the assembly

These links explain the technology relationship. The model is illustrative and does not represent an actual manufacturer’s bill of materials.

Top-of-rack switch

The rack’s own switch boxes. In the reference design they carry the management network for every tray, while scale-out traffic leaves through each tray’s network cards; other designs also aggregate data traffic here.

Scope of the company links: The rack’s own switches. In NVIDIA’s reference rack the in-rack switches carry the management network, and scale-out traffic leaves through each tray’s SuperNICs to leaf switches. NVIDIA’s Spectrum-X Ethernet switches (SN5000/SN6000) are its reference fabric, and Meta and Oracle said they would adopt them (Oct 13, 2025). Arista (7060 AI leaf, 7800R AI spine), Cisco (Nexus N9000/N9100 and G300 systems), Celestica (hyperscale 800G white-box switches) and Accton’s Edgecore (51.2 Tb/s AIS800-64D) sell Ethernet switches for AI clusters, and Foxconn Industrial Internet reports that its 800G-and-above switch shipments rose more than 13-fold in 2025. The operator decides which switch serves a rack.
