Foxconn Industrial Internet

AI servers and GPU/ASIC AI cabinets for cloud providers

Where it fits in an AI server rack

Hon Hai’s Shanghai-listed subsidiary reported H1 2026 revenue of RMB 557.86 billion (+54.6%), cloud-computing revenue up 75.7%, cloud-provider AI-server revenue up 2.3 times and GPU AI-cabinet shipments up 3.2 times year on year (interim report, Aug 11, 2026). In 2025 cloud computing was 66.75% of revenue, 800G-plus switch shipments rose more than 13-fold and precision mechanical parts including server chassis grew by double digits.

What the evidence establishes

AI-rack evidence

Disclosed: FII’s 2026 interim and 2025 annual results, relayed by NBD and the Taipei Times, give the AI-server, cabinet, switch and chassis figures.

An explicit AI-server or AI-rack product, design-in, supply role, program, reference design or partnership, such as a part named for rack-scale AI systems or a product sold for AI data centers. For a rack builder, it means the company’s own AI servers or racks. This does not establish revenue, market share, volumes or future sourcing.

Listed as a rack builder for its own AI servers and racks, not as a supplier of the parts inside.

How we knowDisclosed The company’s own filing, release, annual report, product page or investor record describes the AI-server or AI-rack role. Where customers are unnamed, the listing says so.

Keep in perspective

The figures are growth rates without customer names or rack counts, and they are cited from press relays because the exchange PDFs blocked automated access. The AI share of the chassis line is not given. Hon Hai holds 84.16% on a reciprocal basis, so the two rows overlap.

Specialist business exposure. This describes the breadth or role of the business; it is not an investment rating. An AI-server product, design-in or partnership does not by itself establish material AI-rack revenue, market share, or future returns.

Connections to the assembly

These links explain the technology relationship. The model is illustrative and does not represent an actual manufacturer’s bill of materials.

Top-of-rack switch

The rack’s own switch boxes. In the reference design they carry the management network for every tray, while scale-out traffic leaves through each tray’s network cards; other designs also aggregate data traffic here.

Scope of the company links: The rack’s own switches. In NVIDIA’s reference rack the in-rack switches carry the management network, and scale-out traffic leaves through each tray’s SuperNICs to leaf switches. NVIDIA’s Spectrum-X Ethernet switches (SN5000/SN6000) are its reference fabric, and Meta and Oracle said they would adopt them (Oct 13, 2025). Arista (7060 AI leaf, 7800R AI spine), Cisco (Nexus N9000/N9100 and G300 systems), Celestica (hyperscale 800G white-box switches) and Accton’s Edgecore (51.2 Tb/s AIS800-64D) sell Ethernet switches for AI clusters, and Foxconn Industrial Internet reports that its 800G-and-above switch shipments rose more than 13-fold in 2025. The operator decides which switch serves a rack.

Tray chassis

The sheet-metal enclosure of each compute or switch tray, with its lid, bezel, guides and mounting points for boards, cold plates and drives.

Scope of the company links: Chenbro sells an NVIDIA MGX 1U compute-tray chassis for GB200 NVL72 (two superchips, blind-mate liquid cooling) and a 1U tray for Vera Rubin NVL72, with no named customer. Foxconn Industrial Internet reports server chassis within its precision mechanical parts (double-digit growth in 2025), with no AI share given, and AVC makes server chassis and cabinets beside its thermal products. Wiwynn’s annual report lists rails and chassis among purchased inputs, so integrators generally source them from suppliers. Builders’ own tray designs (QCT’s D75B-1U, Supermicro’s ARS-121GL-NB3) sit under Builders, not here.
