Where does tactile sensing fit?

The fingertip surface is where a hand meets the object it is grasping. Local contact feedback differs from joint angle feedback and from the combined loads measured at the wrist. These functions can complement one another without being interchangeable.

What kinds of companies appear here?

What should not be inferred?
