Where it fits in a quantum computer

Bluefors’ BF-LD dilution-refrigerator manual (v1.5.0, January 2016) says most of the gas handling system’s tubes and vacuum valves sit in a single aluminum block custom-developed with VAT Vacuum Valves AG, and that every valve actuator on it is a standard VAT part. VAT says it supplies vacuum and gas-dosing valves for dilution refrigerators, including multi-valve units that combine several valve functions in one housing to reduce leak points.

The Bluefors manual is from 2016, and neither source names a current quantum customer, volumes or prices. VAT’s business centers on vacuum valves for semiconductor and display production, and it does not break out quantum sales.
