Where it fits in a quantum computer
Builds room-temperature photonic systems and offers foundry services for photonic chips; in June 2026 it sold, delivered and installed a Dirac-3 quantum optimization machine at a global consulting firm. Q2 2026 revenue was $5.6 million, mostly photonics products, and in 2026 it acquired Luminar Semiconductor, NuCrypt and the packaging foundry NHanced Semiconductors ($73.1 million, launching Fab 2), ending June with $1.3 billion of cash and investments (Aug 10, 2026).
What the evidence establishes
Quantum-computing evidenceDisclosed: QCi’s Q2 2026 results release describes the Dirac-3 sale, its revenue mix, foundry services and 2026 acquisitions.
An explicit quantum-computing product, design-in, supply role, program or partnership, such as a part sold for quantum computers or a named quantum-computer customer. For a maker, it means the company’s own quantum computers or processors. This does not establish revenue, market share, volumes or future sourcing.
Listed as a quantum-computer maker for its own systems, not as a supplier of the parts inside.

Keep in perspective
Dirac-3 is a photonic optimization machine, not a gate-model quantum computer, and calling it quantum is QCi’s own description. Most revenue comes from photonics products, and Q2 2026 still showed an $11.8 million net loss.
Specialist business exposure. This describes the breadth or role of the business; it is not an investment rating. A quantum-computing product, design-in or partnership does not by itself establish material quantum revenue, market share, or future returns.
Connections to the assembly
This company is mapped at sector level. The reviewed evidence does not establish a direct match to a specific illustrated part. Explore quantum computer makers for the broader relationship.
