Helios trapped-ion quantum computers; Sol due in 2027

Where it fits in a quantum computer

Builds trapped-ion quantum computers on the QCCD architecture: H1 (2020), H2 (2023) and the 98-qubit Helios (2025), which reached a 99.921% average two-qubit gate fidelity; Sol (up to 100 logical qubits) is planned for 2027 and Apollo for 2029. It listed on Nasdaq on June 4, 2026 after an IPO at $60 a share that raised about $1.7 billion; Q2 2026 revenue was $8 million, and Oracle will deploy Helios as an OCI service (Aug 11, 2026).

What the evidence establishes

Quantum-computing evidence

Disclosed: Quantinuum’s IPO prospectus and Q2 2026 results release describe its systems, fidelity, roadmap, IPO and financials.

An explicit quantum-computing product, design-in, supply role, program or partnership, such as a part sold for quantum computers or a named quantum-computer customer. For a maker, it means the company’s own quantum computers or processors. This does not establish revenue, market share, volumes or future sourcing.

Listed as a quantum-computer maker for its own systems, not as a supplier of the parts inside.

Keep in perspective

2025 revenue was $30.9 million against a $192.6 million net loss, the Q2 2026 GAAP net loss was $597 million, and bookings are lumpy ($79.3 million in 2025, $1.3 million in Q1 2026). Sol and Apollo are roadmap targets, and Honeywell holds about 48% of the shares.

Specialist business exposure. This describes the breadth or role of the business; it is not an investment rating. A quantum-computing product, design-in or partnership does not by itself establish material quantum revenue, market share, or future returns.

Connections to the assembly

This company is mapped at sector level. The reviewed evidence does not establish a direct match to a specific illustrated part. Explore quantum computer makers for the broader relationship.
